Getting Started: Graphical Interface

The Wavelet Studio comes with a graphical user interface (GUI) for modeling DSP systems. The application is very user friendly and is ideal for end users without programming knowledge as it eliminates the need to formulate equations in a language or program.

The image below show an example of model created from this application.

To use it, download here and install the Wavelet Studio. Then run the Wavelet Studio Designer application.

To add blocks to your model, just click on the desired block in the toolbar.

The inputs and outputs of the blocks are represented by small rectangles on the left and right sides of the block. On the left side of the block there are the inputs and on the right side the outputs. Click on an output of a block and drag it to the input of another block to connect two blocks.

A double-click on the block displays a screen where you can set the parameters. If the block is properly connected you will also see a chart with its output.

Clicking on the button in the upper left corner of the main screen a menu appears. There you will can open and save models files.

We recommend that you read the documentation of the blocks available at this link. There you will find detailed information on the operation, inputs, outputs and parameters of each one.

Now you are ready to create your own templates. Enjoy!
